Rangers demote LW Rissmiller
Dec 3, 2008 - 12:52 AM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The New York Rangers assigned left wing Patrick Rissmiller to Hartford of the American Hockey League on Tuesday.Signed as a free agent this past summer, Rissmiller has appeared in just two games with the Rangers this season, posting a minus-2 rating without recording a point. The 30-year-old native of Belmont, Massachusetts has notched seven assists in six contests with the Wolf Pack.
The 6-4, 215-pound Rissmiller has registered 18 goals and 27 assists in 182 career NHL games with the San Jose Sharks and Rangers.
