Capitals LW Semin returns to lineup vs. Bruins

Dec 11, 2008 - 12:28 AM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Washington Capitals left wing Alexander Semin returned to the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Boston Bruins.

The 24-year-old Russian had not played since suffering a back injury in a 3-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils on November 14. Semin was leading the league with 27 points at the time of the injury.

The 13th overall pick of the 2002 draft, Semin has recorded 13 goals and 14 assists in 16 games this season, his fourth with the Capitals.
