Devils D Salvador leaves game
Dec 11, 2008 - 2:50 AM NEWARK, New Jersey (Ticker) -- New Jersey Devils defenseman Bryce Salvador left Wednesday's 4-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins late in the third period and did not return.Salvador was helped off the ice after being struck in the face by a puck with 2:13 remaining, bleeding profusely.
The 32-year-old recorded two assists and logged 19 minutes, 10 seconds of ice time before exiting.
Salvador has notched one goal and three assists in 24 games this season. A native of Brandon, Manitoba, he has collected 17 tallies and 67 points over his eight-year career with the St. Louis Blues and Devils.
