Coyotes recall C Porter
Dec 15, 2008 - 11:20 PM GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- The Phoenix Coyotes on Monday recalled rookie center Kevin Porter from their American Hockey League affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.This year's Hobey Baker Award winner as college hockey's top player, Porter has registered five goals - including a pair of game-winners - and five assists in 25 games for the Coyotes this season.
As a senior at the University of Michigan last campaign, the 22-year-old Porter ranked second in the nation in scoring by collecting 33 goals and 30 points in 43 games.
