Oilers assign G Drouin-Deslauriers to minors
Dec 29, 2008 - 5:20 AM EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Edmonton Oilers assigned rookie goaltender Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers to Springfield of the American Hockey League following Sunday's 5-2 victory over the Nashville Predators.The 24-year-old Drouin-Deslauriers has not started a game for the Oilers since November 30, a 4-3 loss to the Dallas Stars.
A native of St. Jean-Richelieu, Quebec, Drouin-Deslauriers is 3-2-0 with a 2.72 goals-against average in six contests this season with Edmonton.
