LOUIS (Ticker) -- The New Jersey Devils will be without injured defenseman Colin White for Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Blues, according to a published report.White, who is nursing an upper body injury, missed practice Monday and did not accompany the team on its flight to St. Louis. Sutter said White's injury took place in Saturday's 4-2 win over the New York Rangers. White has been bothered by a sore throat for more than a week and missed some time in the first period, but returned and finished the game.
The 31-year-old has one goal and nine assists in 34 games this season. A second-round selection by New Jersey in 1996, White has collected 18 goals and 81 assists in 556 contests over his nine-year career with the Devils.
