Capitals send LW Bourque to minors
Jan 2, 2009 - 7:53 PM ARLINGTON, Virginia (Ticker) - The Washington Capitals on Friday assigned left wing Chris Bourque to Hershey of the American Hockey League.Bourque, the son of Hall of Fame defenseman Ray Bourque, has played in six games this season and recorded his first NHL goal in a 4-2 victory at Buffalo on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old has eight goals and 20 assists in 27 games with Hershey this season.
