Sharks recall D Joslin
Jan 3, 2009 - 12:37 AM SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- The San Jose Sharks made a pair of roster moves Friday, recalling defenseman Derek Joslin from Worcester and assigning left wing Jamie McGinn to their American Hockey League affiliate.A fifth-round pick in 2005, Joslin has yet to make his NHL debut. The 21-year-old native of Richmond Hill, Ontario leads all blue-liners at Worcester in scoring this season with 20 points - including seven goals - in 34 games.
McGinn, 20, was selected in the second round of the 2006 draft. In 12 games with San Jose this campaign, his first in the league, the 6-foot, 185-pounder from Fergus, Ontario registered two goals and an assist.
