Vikings' defensive line banged up for playoff game
Jan 3, 2009 - 12:50 AM EDEN PRAIRIE, Minnesota (Ticker) -- Stopping Brian Westbrook is enough of a challenge. Without two of their starting defensive linemen, the Minnesota Vikings could face an even tougher task.Vikings defensive end Ray Edwards will miss Sunday's NFC wild-card round playoff game against Westbrook and the Philadelphia Eagles due to a knee injury.
Edwards was ruled out Friday after not practicing all week. Star defensive tackle Pat Williams was listed as questionable after being limited in the week's practices with a shoulder injury.
Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian (ankle) participated fully in practice and is listed as probable.
