Canucks assign G Schneider to AHL
Jan 5, 2009 - 11:38 PM VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- The Vancouver Canucks on Monday assigned goaltender Cory Schneider to Manitoba of the American Hockey League.Schneider, 22, made his NHL debut with Vancouver this season and posted a record of 2-4-1 with a 3.38 goals-against average in eight games with the Canucks.
The Massachusetts native posted a 10-1-0 mark earlier this season at Manitoba. He was Vancouver's first-round pick in the 2004 draft.
