Blue Jackets place D Klesla on IR
Jan 5, 2009 - 9:12 PM COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- The Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday placed defenseman Rostislav Klesla on injured reserve.The oft-injured Klesla, who already had missed significant time this season with an ankle and wrist injury, now is hampered by a bruised foot.
In 19 games this season, Klesla has registered one goal and five points.
Klesla, selected fourth overall in the 2000 draft, has 36 goals and 111 points in 429 career games.
