Senators recall D Carkner
Jan 7, 2009 - 9:03 PM OTTAWA (Ticker) -- The Ottawa Senators on Wednesday recalled defenseman Matt Carkner from Binghamton of the American Hockey League.Carkner, 28, has tallied one goal and added 10 assists while recording 70 penalty minutes in 24 games this season with Binghamton.
The Ontario native has played in one career NHL game, recording an assist and two penalty minutes for San Jose in a 4-3 home loss to the Calgary on February 6, 2006.
