Canucks recall RW Hansen

Jan 8, 2009 - 11:50 PM VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- The Vancouver Canucks on Thursday recalled right wing Jannik Hansen from Manitoba of the American Hockey League.

Hansen recorded four goals, 13 assists and 27 penalty minutes in 37 games with Vancouver earlier this season. A ninth-round pick in 2004, the 22-year-old native of Denmark also notched one tally and two penalty minutes in two contests with the Moose.

In a corresponding move, the Canucks assigned center Alexandre Bolduc to Manitoba.

The 23-year-old Bolduc collected one assist in five games with the Canucks this season, his first in the NHL. In 24 contests with the Moose this campaign, he has registered four goals and 13 points.
