Devils D White returns vs. Thrashers

Jan 9, 2009 - 12:08 AM NEWARK, New Jersey (Ticker) -- New Jersey Devils defenseman Colin White returned to the lineup for Thursday's game against the Atlanta Thrashers after missing five contests with an upper body injury.

A native of New Glasglow, Nova Scotia, the 31-year-old White has recorded one goal and nine assists in 34 games this season. White, who has collected 18 tallies 99 points in 556 contests over his nine-year career with the Devils, was a second-round selection in the 1996 draft.

Named to the NHL's All-Rookie Team in 2001, White was a member of the Devils' Stanley Cup championship teams in 2000 and 2003.
