Devils D White returns vs. Thrashers
Jan 9, 2009 - 12:08 AM NEWARK, New Jersey (Ticker) -- New Jersey Devils defenseman Colin White returned to the lineup for Thursday's game against the Atlanta Thrashers after missing five contests with an upper body injury.A native of New Glasglow, Nova Scotia, the 31-year-old White has recorded one goal and nine assists in 34 games this season. White, who has collected 18 tallies 99 points in 556 contests over his nine-year career with the Devils, was a second-round selection in the 1996 draft.
Named to the NHL's All-Rookie Team in 2001, White was a member of the Devils' Stanley Cup championship teams in 2000 and 2003.
