Predators C Arnott, D Weber return vs. Thrashers

Jan 18, 2009 - 1:19 AM NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Nashville Predators got their top two goal-scorers back for Saturday's contest against the Atlanta Thrashers.

Center Jason Arnott returned to the lineup after a three-game absence due to a lower body injury, while All-Star defenseman Shea Weber came back after missing one contest with a foot ailment.

Arnott, the team captain, leads the Predators with 15 goals this season. Weber ranks second on the team and first among NHL blue-liners with 13 tallies.

The pair should provide a huge boost to Nashville's struggling offense, which ranks 28th in the league with just 108 goals. Arnott and Weber are two of four Predators to reach double-digits in tallies thus far this season.
