Senators C Fisher leaves game, returns
Jan 18, 2009 - 2:01 AM OTTAWA (Ticker) -- Ottawa Senators center Mike Fisher left Saturday's game against the Montreal Canadiens late in the second period with a right hand injury.He returned at the start of the third session, however.
With 1:37 remaining in the second, Montreal defenseman Patrice Brisebois unleashed a shot from just outside the right faceoff circle that caught Fisher on his glove.
Fisher was able to finish his shift before skating toward the bench and immediately making his way to the locker room.
In 39 games this season, the 28-year-old has recorded four goals and 10 assists.
No one has shouted yet.
