Report: Capitals RW Clark could miss rest of season
Feb 3, 2009 - 12:24 AM TORONTO (Ticker) -- Washington Capitals captain Chris Clark will undergo surgery on his wrist this week and will likely miss the remainder of the regular season, according to a published report.Capitals general manager George McPhee told TSN of Canada on Monday that Clark's wrist has been an issue since training camp. An operation is scheduled for Thursday.
Clark recorded one goal and five assists in 32 games this season.
The 32-year-old has 91 goals, 88 assists and 614 penalty minutes in 480 career games with the Calgary Flames and Capitals.
