Devils D White leaves in win over Thrashers
Feb 7, 2009 - 3:58 AM ATLANTA (Ticker) -- New Jersey Devils defenseman Colin White left Friday's 5-1 win over the Atlanta Thrashers after one period with an undisclosed injury and did not return.The 31-year-old recorded an assist in 5 minutes, 4 seconds of ice time before exiting the contest.
White's status for Saturday's home game against the Los Angeles Kings is uncertain.
A native of New Glasglow, Nova Scotia, White has registered one goal, 12 assists and 24 penalty minutes in 47 games this season.
Selected by New Jersey in the second round of the 1996 draft, White has amassed 18 tallies, 102 points and 732 penalty minutes in 569 contests with the Devils over his nine-year career.
