Islanders LW Bergenheim returns
Feb 8, 2009 - 6:56 AM TAMPA, Florida (Ticker) -- New York Islanders left wing Sean Bergenheim returned to the lineup in Saturday's 1-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning after missing eight games with a strained muscle in his side.The 25-year-old Bergenheim, who was activated from injured reserve on Friday, registered one shot on goal and a minus-1 rating in 11 minutes, 38 seconds of ice time. The 5-10, 205-pound Finn has recorded seven goals and four assists in 40 games this season.
Drafted 22nd overall in 2002, Bergenheim has collected 22 goals and 22 assists in 164 career contests.
