C Richards, RW Upshall return for Flyers
Feb 13, 2009 - 3:57 AM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia Flyers got back some key forwards Thursday, when center Mike Richards and right wing Scottie Upshall returned to the lineup in their 5-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators.Both players missed Philadelphia's previous three contests with the flu.
Richards scored his 19th goal of the season - and third in as many games - while Upshall notched an assist.
The team captain, the 24-year-old Richards has recorded 19 goals and 32 assists in 50 games this season. Drafted 24th overall in 2003, the 5-11, 195-pound native of Kenora, Ontario has collected 68 tallies and 125 points in 261 career contests.
Upshall, 25, has notched six goals and 12 assists in 46 games this campaign. Acquired from Nashville in February 2007 after being selected sixth overall in the 2002 draft, the 6-foot, 197-pounder from Fort McMurray, Alberta has amassed 37 tallies and 90 points in 202 career contests with the Predators and Flyers.
