Predators RW Tootoo returns to lineup

Feb 15, 2009 - 4:43 AM NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Nashville Predators right wing Jordin Tootoo returned to the lineup after a seven-game absence for Saturday's 3-2 shootout victory over the Eastern Conference-leading Boston Bruins.

Tootoo had been sidelined with a hand injury. The 26-year-old recorded an assist in 7 minutes, 40 seconds of action against Boston.

In 46 games this season, Tootoo has registered four goals and seven assists.

Selected in the fourth round of the 2001 draft, the 5-9, 200-pound native of Churchill, Manitoba has collected 27 goals and 29 assists in 278 career contests.
