Senators D Picard returns to lineup in loss to Avalanche
Feb 18, 2009 - 5:08 AM DENVER (Ticker) -- After a seven-game absence, Ottawa Senators defenseman Alexandre Picard returned to the lineup for Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Colorado Avalanche.The 23-year-old, who has been bothered by a lingering wrist injury, recorded three shots in 14 minutes, 15 seconds of action.
A native of Gatineau, Quebec, Picard has registered six goals and eight assists in 46 games this season.
Selected in the third round by Philadelphia in the 2003 draft, Picard has amassed 12 tallies and 42 points in 138 contests with the Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning and Senators over his four-year career.
