Sabres D Tallinder returns to lineup
Feb 22, 2009 - 5:08 AM BUFFALO, New York (Ticker) -- After being sidelined for a month, Buffalo Sabres defenseman Henrik Tallinder returned to the lineup for Saturday's 4-2 win over the New York Rangers.The 30-year-old Tallinder, who had not played since a 5-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on January 21 due to a shoulder injury, registered an assist in 18 minutes, 44 seconds of ice time.
A native of Stockholm, Sweden, Tallinder has recorded one goal, six assists and 22 penalty minutes in 44 games this season.
