Bruins RW Ryder returns in win over Panthers

Feb 25, 2009 - 4:23 AM BOSTON (Ticker) -- After missing nearly three weeks, Boston Bruins right wing Michael Ryder returned to the lineup for Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Florida Panthers.

The 28-year-old Ryder, who had not played since a 4-3 overtime victory over the Ottawa Senators on February 5 due to facial fractures, recorded a goal and an assist in 13 minutes, 34 seconds of ice time.

A native of St. John's, Newfoundland, Ryder has amassed 20 goals and 18 assists in 53 games this season.
