Mar 1, 2009 - 1:04 AM OTTAWA (Ticker) -- Ottawa Senators defenseman Alexandre Picard left Saturday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first period with a lower body injury.

He will not return to the contest.

Picard, who did not record a shot in 4 minutes, 36 seconds of ice time, has six goals and eight assists in 49 games this season.
