Rangers D Rozsival out 7-10 days
Mar 23, 2009 - 8:42 PM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- New York Rangers defenseman Michal Rozsival is expected to be sidelined for seven to 10 days with a lower body injury, the team announced Monday.Rozsival was injured in the second period of Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators.
One of the club's top blue-liners, Rozsival has eight goals and 30 points in 72 games this season.
Earlier Monday, the Rangers recalled defenseman Mike Sauer from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League. Sauer, 21, has registered six goals and 16 assists in 59 games with Hartford this season.
