Bruins recall C Sobotka
Apr 9, 2009 - 9:59 PM BOSTON (Ticker) -- The Boston Bruins on Thursday recalled center Vladimir Sobotka from Providence of the American Hockey League.A fourth-round pick in 2005, the 21-year-old Sobotka has appeared in 23 games with Boston this season, recording one goal and three assists. The 5-10, 183-pound Czech also has registered 20 tallies and 44 points in 44 contests with Providence.
Sobotka made his NHL debut last campaign, when he notched a goal and six assists in 48 games.
