FRISCO, Texas (Ticker) - The Dallas Stars have been playing well and now figure to get even better.
The Stars on Tuesday activated left wing Brenden Morrow and right wing Antti Miettinen from injured reserve. Both players are expected to be in the lineup Tuesday when the Stars face the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Stars have won four of their last five games and get their second-leading goal scorer back in Morrow, who had missed the past eight games with a groin strain. In 21 games this season, the 27-year-old has eight goals and eight assists.
Miettinen, 26, has been sidelined with a lower body injury since a 4-3 victory over the Washington Capitals on Wednesday. The Finn has six goals and four assists in 25 games this season.
