Danica Patrick cited for speeding again

Jan 2, 2009 - 4:22 PM SCOTTSDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Danica Patrick was caught speeding off the track for the second time in 2008, according to numerous reports.

The IndyCar series starlet was stopped on December 9 and charged with going 54 miles per hour in a 35-mph zone, according to The Arizona Republic.

In January 2008, Scottsdale police cited Patrick for going 57 mph in a 40-mph zone.

In between speeding tickets, she became the first woman to win a race in a major racing league, taking the checkered flag in the Indy Japan 300 in April.
