D.C. United goalkeeper Wicks out 4-6 weeks
Sep 28, 2009 - 11:36 PM WASHINGTON(AP) -- D.C. United goalkeeper Josh Wicks will be out four to six weeks with a dislocated shoulder and a sprained knee.Wicks was hurt in the second half of Sunday's 2-1 loss to the San Jose Earthquakes.
The injury means Wicks will likely miss the rest of the regular season.
It also leaves United with one active goalkeeper, Milos Kocic. The team said it will call up a MLS pool goalkeeper, starting this weekend for the game against Chivas USA.
The team recently signed goalkeeper Bill Hamid, but he is only eligible for CONCACAF Champions League games.
No one has shouted yet.
