DC United goalie Wicks has shoulder surgery
Oct 29, 2009 - 7:46 PM WASHINGTON(AP) -- D.C. United goalie Josh Wicks is expected to be sidelined for four to six months after having surgery on his left shoulder.He was hurt when he collided with another player during a 2-1 loss to the San Jose Earthquakes on Sept. 27.
Wicks joined United at the start of the season and started 19 games, with a 1.40 goals-against average and five shutouts.
No one has shouted yet.
