Sabah leads Monaracas Morelia to SuperLiga title

(AP) -- Miguel Sabah scored twice to help Mexico's Monaracas Morelia win the SuperLiga championship with a 2-1 victory over the New England Revolution on Wednesday night.Sabah scored on a penalty kick in the 65th minute and made it 2-0 in the 75th minute on a spectacular volley. Kevin Alston scored the Revolution in the 79th minute.
With Monaracas dominating possession with sound passing and timely runs, Sabah scored on the penalty kick after Luis Gabriel Rey was pulled down inside the box.
