Cocu takes charge at PSV
May 13, 2013 - 4:15 PM Eindhoven, Netherlands (Sports Network) - Phillip Cocu has been named the new manager of PSV Eindhoven after agreeing to a four-year contract on Monday.Cocu will replace Dick Advocaat, whose contract expired at the end of the season after he led the club to a second-place finish, seven points adrift of champions Ajax.
The 42-year-old had two spells at PSV during his playing career, while he also enjoyed time at Barcelona and earned 101 caps for the Netherlands.
In 2012 Cocu served as caretaker manager of PSV for the final two months after the firing of Fred Rutten.
