Sociedad held by Granada after late goal
May 13, 2013 - 10:04 PM San Sebastian, Spain (Sports Network) - Real Sociedad's bid for a top-four place took a hit on Monday as the club was held to a 2-2 draw at home by Granada after the visitors notched a stoppage-time equalizer through Recio.A pair of first-half goals from Imanol Agirretxe had Sociedad ahead 2-1 at halftime, with Granada's Youssef El Arabi finding the net for the visitors.
But with Granada pressing for an equalizer in the final 10 minutes, Recio rewarded his team by collecting a free kick inside the penalty area and finding the bottom right corner of the net to steal his side a valuable point.
The result leaves Sociedad level on 59 points with Valencia for the fourth and final Champions League spot with three games to play, while Granada climbs four points above the relegation places.
