Chivas acquires G. Farfan from Philadelphia
May 14, 2013 - 10:37 PM Carson, CA (Sports Network) - Chivas USA announced Tuesday that the club has acquired midfielder Gabriel Farfan from the Philadelphia Union in exchange for a first-round pick in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft and allocation money.Farfan joins the Goats with three seasons of MLS experience, all of them with the Union. The 24-year-old enjoyed a collegiate career at Cal State Fullerton from 2006-2007 before joining Philadelphia on the back of a successful trial with the club.
Per club and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
