QPR's Remy arrested on suspicion of rape
May 15, 2013 - 4:34 PM London, England (Sports Network) - QPR striker Loic Remy was one of three men who was arrested and questioned on suspicion of rape on Wednesday.According to a statement from Scotland Yard, the incident occurred just over a week ago in the west London area when a 34-year-old female reported that she had been raped by three men.
The statement also confirmed that all three were arrested on Wednesday morning and remain in custody.
Remy joined QPR from Marseille in January and went on to score six goals in 13 league matches for the club.
But it wasn't enough for QPR to avoid relegation and the 26-year-old is expected to leave this summer.
No one has shouted yet.
