Lyon, Nice exchange second-half goals in Ligue 1 draw
May 19, 2013 - 3:22 PM Nice, France (Sports Network) - Lyon and Nice traded second-half goals at the Stade Municipal du Ray to split the points with a 1-1 draw in Sunday's lone Ligue 1 fixture.After a scoreless opening period, the home side got off the mark in the 47th minute with Dario Cvitanich breaking the deadlock from the penalty spot.
Lyon was reduced to 10 men in the 73rd minute when Maxime Gonalons received a red card, but the visitors managed to climb level three minutes later through Clement Grenier.
The two sides remain separated by three points as Lyon retains third place in the French top flight with 64 points while Nice climbs to 61 points.
