PSG's Leonardo handed nine-month ban
May 31, 2013 - 3:32 PM Paris, France (Sports Network) - PSG sporting director Leonardo has been handed a nine-month ban by the Ligue 1 disciplinary committee for pushing a referee.The incident occurred following PSG's 1-1 draw with Valenciennes during Ligue 1 play on May 5. The Brazilian was found guilty of pushing referee Alexandre Castro in the tunnel after the match with the fracas being caught on camera.
The suspension applies to all of Leonardo's official duties in addition to his required absence from the touchline during PSG games.
