Veltman signs Ajax extension
Jun 7, 2013 - 4:36 PM Amsterdam, Netherlands (Sports Network) - Ajax defender Joel Veltman has signed a two-year contract extension that ties him to the club until June 2017.The 21-year-old came up through the youth system at Ajax and made his first- team debut in August 2012 as a substitute in a 6-1 win over NEC.
Veltman appeared in 10 games total for the Dutch champions last term, including four starts.
Ajax also announced that goalkeeper Chiel Kramer has been sold to Heerenveen after he failed to make a first-team appearance for the club.
