Reid signs new West Brom deal
Jun 17, 2013 - 3:57 PM West Bromwich, England (Sports Network) - West Bromwich confirmed on Monday that defender Steven Reid has signed a new one-year contract that ties him to the club through the 2013-14 season.Reid joined the Baggies from Blackburn in 2010, but he was out of contract at the end of this past season and looked set to leave the Hawthorns this summer.
However, Reid and West Brom were able to come to an agreement that keeps the former Republic of Ireland international at the club for another 12 months.
The 32-year-old was limited to 11 appearances in the league last season because of injuries for West Brom, which finished in eighth place under first- year manager Steve Clarke.
