Snodgrass out of hospital

Oct 31, 2013 - 8:58 AM Norwich midfielder Robert Snodgrass has been released from hospital after suffering concussion during his team's 4-0 loss to Manchester United in a League Cup match.

Snodgrass was struck on the eye socket in a clash of heads with United defender Rafael on Tuesday night at Old Trafford.

He received treatment on the pitch for about 10 minutes before being taken to hospital.

Snodgrass was released a couple of hours later and his club said he will undergo further tests to determine whether he will be available for Saturday's Premier League match at Manchester City.
