Herrera names Mexico's starting lineup
Jun 12, 2014 - 6:56 PM Natal, Brazil (SportsNetwork.com) - Mexico head coach Miguel Herrera named his starting 11 on Thursday for El Tri's Group A opener against Cameroon on Friday.Goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa gets the starting nod, while Giovanni Dos Santos and Oribe Peralta will be the primary attackers, leaving Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez on the bench.
Defender Rafael Marquez will start in central defense, making him the first player to captain his team at four different World Cups.
"The players each day are seeing it more clearly, we are working on that," Herrera said. "Our team can be world champions."
