Racing Santender signs Szetela
Sep 1, 2007 - 1:11 PM Special to PA SportsTickerSANTANDER, Spain (Ticker) -- Racing Santander have signed USA Under-20 midfielder Danny Szetela with the deal being completed just hours before the transfer deadline on Friday.
The 20-year-old moves to the Spanish outfit from the MLS' Columbus Crew, inking a two-year deal with the Primera Liga club.
Szetela impressed at the recent Under-20 World Cup, scoring three goals as the U.S. reached the last eight of the competition.
