Chivas USA MF Flores injures ankle in practice
Jul 9, 2008 - 12:09 AM CARSON, California (Ticker) -- Chivas USA midfielder Jorge Flores suffered a sprained right ankle during practice and will likely miss the club's match against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Thursday, according to the team's web site.Flores also will not travel to Laredo, Texas, for the United States Under-20 national team's match against Mexico on Friday.
The 18-year-old Flores has three goals - include a team-best two game-winning tallies - in six matches for Chivas USA.
