Chivas USA MF Wicky has surgery
Jul 17, 2008 - 12:36 AM CARSON, California (Ticker) -- Chivas USA midfielder Raphael Wicky had reconstructive surgery on his right ankle Wednesday and will be sidelined three to four months, according to the team web site.The surgery was performed by team physicians Dr. Michael Gerhardt and Dr. Bert Mandelbaum at the Surgery Center of the Pacific in Santa Monica, California.
A 2006 World Cup veteran, Wicky, 31, had one assist in five matches.
