Revolution deal F Cristman to Wizards

Nov 24, 2008 - 9:30 PM FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- The New England Revolution on Monday traded forward Adam Cristman to the Kansas City Wizards.

The Revolution will receive allocation money and the Wizards' third-round selection in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft.

Cristman scored 10 goals and added five assists in 46 career games over two seasons with the Revolution. He had six goals in 18 appearances in 2008, but missed the final three months after undergoing season-ending toe surgery.

A fourth-round pick of New England, Cristman was one of three finalists for the MLS Rookie of the Year award in 2007.

The trade was completed prior to Monday's 3 p.m. deadline for teams to submit their 11-man protected lists for Wednesday's Expansion Draft, in which the Seattle Sounders FC will stock their roster by selecting 10 players from other teams.
