D.C. United re-sign Burch
Jan 7, 2009 - 8:54 PM WASHINGTON (Ticker) - D.C. United on Wednesday re-signed defender Marc Burch.Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Burch, 24, made 21 starts in his first full season with United last season, recording three assists. He was acquired from the Columbus Crew in April 2007.
"We are pleased to have re-signed Marc to a new deal," United general manager Dave Kasper said. "He has adapted well to playing in our defense and has become an important player for us. We look forward to his future contributions to our club."
