Lynx C Anosike has knee surgery
Sep 16, 2009 - 9:37 PM MINNEAPOLIS(AP) -- Minnesota Lynx All-Star Nicky Anosike is recovering from arthroscopic surgery on her right knee.The team announced Wednesday that Anosike had the surgery Tuesday to repair a lateral mensical tear. She is expected to be fully recovered by the time training camp starts next season.
Anosike missed the final four games this season with the injury. She led the team with 13.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.7 assists per game. She also led the team in blocks, becoming just the second player in league history to lead her team in five statistical categories.
