Twins Kelly and Coco Miller sign with Dream
Mar 17, 2010 - 5:06 PM ATLANTA(AP) -- Twins Kelly and Coco Miller have each signed two-year deals with the Atlanta Dream, giving them their first opportunity to play together professionally.The WNBA team announced the signings on Wednesday.
Kelly Miller started 24 games for the Minnesota Lynx last season and was the starting point guard for the 2007 WNBA champion Phoenix Mercury.
Coco Miller returns for her second season with Atlanta after averaging 3.9 points in 2009.
The twins helped lead Georgia to the 1999 Final Four and 2000 Southeastern Conference championship. Kelly Miller says the two "have dreamed about playing on the same team again."
