De Souza and Price re-sign with Dream
Mar 9, 2012 - 6:52 AM Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Dream re-signed center Erika de Souza and guard Armintie Price to multi-year deals on Thursday.DeSouza averaged 11.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 32 games during the regular season.
She is a member of Brazil's Olympic team and will not re-join the Dream until after the Games are over.
Over her six years in the WNBA, she has averaged 9.4 points and 6.6 rebounds over 155 games, all with Atlanta.
Price appeared in all 34 games last season and averaged 8.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. In 169 games over five seasons with Chicago and Atlanta, she has averaged 6.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
